Apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms in Barcelona located near the Sagrada Familia which can host up to six people. Equipped with furniture and appliances, it’s a very sunny apartment with two balconies.

The master bedroom has a double bed and an interior balcony while the second bedroom has two single beds. The living room is spacious with two large windows and a double sofa bed. The kitchen is in the living room. The apartment was completely renovated in October 2012 and enjoys a great location.

The Eixample (in Catalan L'Eixample) is the name given to the second district of  Barcelona, which occupies the central part of the city, in a wide area of 7.46 km ² which was designed by Ildefonso Cerdá.

It is the most populous district of Barcelona .In one district there are two neighborhoods that share name: 'The Eixample left' and 'The Eixample right', two similar neighborhoods  but distinct personalities.

The Eixample right is perhaps the most monumental of the two where its buildings are more stately and modernists. Similarly, moving through the streets we will discover the most iconic buildings of the city such as Casa Batllo, La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia and Arc de Triomphe.. The two most important avenues of the city are Paseo San Juan and Paseo de Gracia, also the Gran Via, Plaza Catalunya and Diagonal are part of this district.

 

Activities

The Eixample right is a safe residential area of the city which provides an active nightlife and a pleasant café culture. It is a beautiful area to roam around, enjoy the glorious architecture and people-watching from the terrace of one of the many cafes. The shoppers will find international brands (Max Mara, Chanel, Valentino, Jimmy Chu, Carolina Herrera, etc) as well as leading design shops. Besides there are several mandatory cultural stops.

In this area there is a wide range of nightclubs, bars and dance halls. Most swingers will find here a good option to lengthen their nights.

1) Contract:

 

Upon arrival at the apartment, the guest will sign a contract for the stay with IN OUT APARTMENTS.

 

2) Payment details:

 

You should pay the remaining balance in cash upon arrival.

 

Under certain circumstances, payment can be made by credit card which incurs a 1,21% (Visa or MasterCard).

Under certain circumstances, payment can also be made via bank transfer provided that:

  • the corresponding net amount is received in our bank account 1 week prior to arrival (bank charges are paid for by the guest)
  • we have confirmed reception of such amount in writing

  

3) Duration of lease:

 

This contract is only valid for the duration of the stay booked and stated at the beginning of the contract.

 

This confirms that the reason for Rent apartments answers for tourism, study or temporary work and therefore will not be your primary residence since it is contained in the operative part of this contract.

 

4) Refundable Security deposit:

 

Along with the payment of the rental balance the guest will be asked to provide a deposit as well as a valid credit card as security for possible damages and keys loss. For short term rentals up to 20 days the amount ranges between 200€ and 500€. For longer stays the deposit can be increased to at least 1 month rental.

 

Please note that by accepting our Terms and Conditions you agree that any damages caused by you or your accompanying party will be deducted from your damage deposit, and that you will also be liable for any excess damages.

  • Cash: All damage deposits paid in cash will be refunded in full at check-out, and following an inspection of the apartment for any damages.
  • Credit card: All deposits paid with a credit card will be refunded to that same card used for payment made, between 4 to 7 days following departure into the apartment, and after inspection for damages.

 

All amount deducted for damages reasons will be justified by invoices.

 

5) Touristic tax:

 

Barcelona City tax 0,72€ per person/per night for a maximum of 7 nights, IS NOT INCLUDED in this price. Anyone under the age of 17 is exempt

 

6) Supplies:

 

In tourist rentals under 20 nights, supplies (i.e. gas, electricity and water) are included in the rental price (unless otherwise agreed by contract).

 

In the rest of rentals, supplies are not included in the price and will be billed at the end of the stay (if less than 3 months rentals) or by the payment of monthly rent (for rentals exceeding three months).

 

7) Subletting:

 

It is strictly forbidden to sublet the apartment or room in the same way is not allowed accommodate more people agreed and included in the booking/contract.

 

Failure to meet this condition, the guest will be invited to leave the apartment without being entitled to any compensation.

 

8) Pets:

 

Generally pets are not allowed in the apartments unless permission has been specifically granted by IN OUT APARTMENTS.

 

Failure to notify and receive the subsequent acceptance from IN OUT APARTMENTS will be sufficient reason for cancelling the reservation without any compensation.

 

9) Cleaning:

 

All apartments will be handed over clean and tidy to our guest’s.

 

Before check out the guests is obliged to leave the apartment in perfect conditions, i.e. all waste should be correctly disposed of and the apartment tidied. If not, IN OUT APARTMENTS will charge an additional cleaning charge

 

10) Arrival and departure:

 

Standard check in time is from 15.00 onwards and check out before 11.00.

Our working hours are from 9am to 21pm. All check in and check outs out of this time frame have an extra charge:

  • check in and out from 7am to 9am and from 21h to 24h have an extra charge of 30 €
  • check in and out from 24h to 7h have an extra charge of 50 €

 

11) Cancellation Policy:

 

All cancellations have to be in writing.

  • Reservations canceled 60 days before arrival: 100% refund
  • Reservations canceled 30-59 days before arrival: 50% refund
  • Reservations canceled less than 30 days before arrival: no refund

 

12) Conduct:

 

The guest, by signing the contract at check-in commits to behave responsibly and correctly on behalf of their accompanying party as well as themselves.

 

Should the signing guest or any of the accompanying party behave in an unsuitable and incorrect manner, IN OUT Apartments reserves the right to ask the person and their accompanying party to leave the apartment without being entitled to any compensation neither to any claims.

 Françaises et ne parlant pas un mot d'espagnol ni d'anglais, nous avons eu un premier contact relationnel stressant ...... pour débuter notre séjour à Barcelone. Nous avons été satisfaites de toutes les autres prestations matérielles. Il pourrait être bien que l' appartement dispose d'une fiche mémo avec numéros d'urgence ( police, pompiers....).

 The apartment is comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped. The wi-fi is excellent. It is a plus that it has two bathrooms that make it comfortable for stay of two families. It is near Sagrada familia, but to go to the center and most of the tourist sites it is necessary to use the metro if you do not use the tourist bus routes.

 We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Barcelona. David was easily accessible on the phone and arrived in good time to let us in to the apartment and was even early for our check out. The apartment had everything you might need with a well equipped kitchen. however we only made breakfasts. It is very close to the Sagrada Familia Temple and Metro station with plenty of restaurants, shopping and groceries available in the neighbourhood. Located in the Eixample area it is a little far from the other historic neighbourhoods of Barcelona. All in all we had an amazing visit, walked and used the inexpensive metro extensively.

 We were extremely happy with our apartment in Barcelona. My daughter in law and I were traveling with my 2 year old granddaughter so the apartment situation was perfect. We put her to bed and were free to visit for hours without disturbing her. We also made use of the many markets and shops to collect wonderful food during the day and had most of our meals in the cute little kitchen, which was perfect for traveling with a small child. The location couldn't have been better. We made use of public transportation, cabs and walking to see everything in this beautiful city. The neighborhood was safe and bustling, just what we expected from a city neighborhood! Check in and check out was flawless and the price was extremely affordable. I plan to use this company again whenever possible!

 We found the apartment to have everything that we needed to cook as well as give us a comfortable stay. The person who met us with the keys could not have been more helpful, even to suggesting he booked a cab to take us to the airport. I would recommend this apartment for up to 4 people. If 5 -6 people sharing, be aware that the living room in which the sofa bed is situated is noisy, even with the windows and shutters closed - take ear plugs!
