Gracia festivities taking place the third week of August are a benchmark in the city. A part from seven days of activities in the streets with hundreds of concerts, exhibitions and performances, neighborhood streets decorating contest is certainly the culmination of these celebrations. And is that residents spend a whole year to prepare a special decoration for each street and participate in the contest. The results are truly amazing and well worth strolling through the streets dressed in that week.

Gracia is one of the best connected neighborhoods. Although not too many buses driving through the narrow streets they do down the peripheral streets.
